Spirit in the Sky Eclectic Clothes & Costumes opened for business in September 1993.   Initially selling “grunge,” it soon evolved into a novelty store renting vintage clothing.   A few years later, Celene Cross, the owner, purchased the inventory from a closing costume business to supplement the store.  Today, Spirit in the Sky sells primarily costumes for Halloween, vintage clothing from the '20s through the '80s, shoes, lingerie, swim wear, and club wear.

Spirit in the Sky also offers name-brand and contemporary clothing, and costumes for men, women, children and dogs.   Accessories include belts, buckles, hats, scarves, gloves, boas, jewelry, mustaches, masks, wigs, glasses, hosiery, boy shorts, petticoats, purses, “bling,” Dreadhead products and much more. Novelties include greeting cards, t-shirts, stickers, patches, backpacks, purses, bumper stickers, and books.
